Supporting our Emergency Services: Fire & Rescue Visit our Isle of Grain Development
Last week, we hosted crews from Strood Fire and Rescue Service, along with training officers from Kent Fire and Rescue Service, to our Affordable Housing development on the Isle of Grain for a dedicated training and familiarisation visit. The session was designed to provide firefighters with a deeper understanding of modern timber frame construction, including the build sequence and the extensive fire stopping and compartmentation measures incorporated throughout our homes.
The visit was extremely well received by both the operational crews and the training team. They were particularly complimentary about the high standard of fire safety features built into the development, as well as the openness of our Site Team in explaining the construction process and the potential risks they may encounter when attending incidents at construction sites of this nature.
The session proved an important chance to work alongside our local emergency services, and showcased the robust quality and fire safety measures we build into all of our homes here at Esquire Developments.
