Mount Everest Base Camp fundraising for Demelza

This year, Esquire Directors Paul and David, and our Directors of Land and Planning and Finance, Will and Andy, are taking on a new challenge outside of the world of property development. In September, they’ll be making the climb to Mount Everest Base Camp in support of Demelza, a charity that provides vital care for children with serious and life-limiting conditions, and compassionate support for their families.

The trek to Base Camp is a demanding journey of both endurance and determination. Through this challenge, they hope to raise both awareness and essential funds to support Demelza in continuing to deliver their crucial work across our community. Their goal is to raise a minimum of £50,000, which will support the costs of a range of family services, specialist nursing care, or specialist short breaks.

Our Director of Finance, Will, said: “Hitting the big 4-0 this year feels like the perfect excuse to tick off a major bucket list item! It’s definitely going to push me both physically and mentally. Being away from my family for so long will be tough, but what an amazing opportunity. Not only do I get to take on this adventure, but I’ll also be raising a fantastic amount for a charity that means so much to us. As scary as it will be, the benefit Demelza will see off the back of it makes it a no brainer.”

Your donation, no matter the amount, will directly support Demelza’s incredible work, providing invaluable care, comfort and compassion to families affected by serious and life-limiting conditions.
